Emergencies Care:
What to do while waiting?

An emergency medical situation is stressful for both animal and owner. Unless otherwise stated during your phone call with our emergency vet we do not recommend trying to assist your animal medically as this has the potential to make the situation worse. We recommend monitoring the animal closely while waiting and ensuring stress is kept to a minimum.

Monday - Friday: 8.30am-5pm | Saturday: Closed

Emergency hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Please call the clinic as usual and the mobile of the vet on call will be available on our answering machine.

Our vets may already be on call at another location. If there is no answer, please leave a voicemail and they will come back to you as soon as possible. Please speak slowly and clearly when speaking with our vets, to give them the chance to record all the information you are providing; this will give us the best opportunity to help your animal.

Committed to exceptional veterinary care, Highfield Veterinary Group stands at the forefront of veterinary medicine, with a dedicated team of passionate vets and staff continuously enhancing their knowledge and skills to ensure the welfare of the animals.
