Emergencies Care:
What to do while waiting?

There is always an emergency vet on-call to offer care provision. If your animal is having a medical emergency you can call us at any time of the day and care will be available.

• Ensure the animal is in a well lit space

• Warm clean water to be available on demand

• Ensure clean bedding is under the animal

• Keep the animal as calm as possible

• Once decision to ring the vet is made no further intervention is recommended until vets arrival

• Your name, address and most importantly your eircode

• Your phone number and back up number if required due to poor reception etc.

• The location of the animal e.g. the field/ shed

• A description of the emergency at hand
