There is always an emergency vet on-call to offer care provision. If your animal is having a medical emergency you can call us at any time of the day and care will be available.
Ensure the animal is in a well lit space
Warm clean water to be available on demand
Ensure clean bedding is under the animal
Keep the animal as calm as possible
Once decision to ring the vet is made no further intervention is recommended until vets arrival
Your name, address and most importantly your eircode
Your phone number and back up number if required due to poor reception etc.
The location of the animal e.g. the field/ shed
A description of the emergency at hand
